An indigenous woman working at a remote data center in Jharkhand begins interacting with artificial intelligence. In his debut feature, director Aranya Sahay weaves a quietly powerful story exploring the intersection of tribal identity, labor, and emerging technology.
🎬ABOUT THE DIRECTOR
Aranya Sahay is a Mumbai-based filmmaker and FTII alum. His films have screened at Mumbai International Film Festival, Jaffna Film Festival, and more. His 2021 short Saaya was selected as a ‘Film Bazaar Recommends’ project. He was also a 2023 Museum of Imagined Futures Impact Fellow.
